Manager Global Sourcing/Supply Chain

Immediate opportunity for an experienced supply chain manager with sourcing experience global markets to develop a strategic purchasing organization and an efficient, dependable supply chain for a growing, well-funded start-up alternative energy equipment manufacturer. Experience in sourcing various mechanical and electrical components for industrial applications such as mobile equipment, machine tools, material handling systems, paint or assembly line equipment, hvac equipment or similar for a smaller to mid-sized company or division is preferred. Manage growth, change and improvement of strategic and tactical purchasing operation in multi-site environment.

Moderate travel to domestic, North American and some Asian locations required, especially in early years.

Requires a BS in Business, Supply Management, Engineering or similar combined with 7+ years purchasing experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
