Description:
The Supplier
Enablement Lead is responsible for working with Ryder Category Managers,
Business Units and Field Representatives to ensure respective suppliers are
prepared to transact according to standards and guidelines. This involves
reaching out to suppliers, communicating Ryders requirements and value
proposition, and on-boarding suppliers to Ryders procurement system. The
Supplier Enablement Lead must define the scope, responsibilities,
methodology and approach required to enable the supplier base on the Ariba
P2P platform as well as respective catalogs. The Supplier Enablement Lead is
responsible for supplier training including developing supplier training
programs.
Requirements:
A Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field is
required.
Experience managing marketing campaigns, delivering training or supporting
programs related to large change initiatives
Minimum of 5 (five) years of experience in supplier or customer relations
and/or business development is required.
Intermediate Level Skills in MS-Word such as including styles, mail merge,
tabs, tables, columns and breaks, graphics, fields, headers and footers,
working with margins, page orientation, and spelling/grammar.
Intermediate Level Skills in MS-Excel such as freezing/unfreezing panes,
hiding/un-hiding data, setting print titles & page breaks, linking
workbooks, creating external links, re-directing links, customizing toolbars
& menus, protecting a worksheet, filtering options, and chart formatting
options.
Intermediate Level Skills in MS-PowerPoint such as working with templates,
using multimedia objects and custom animations, adding interactions, and
publishing completed presentations.
Additional
Requirements:
Masters degree or MBA preferred.
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills are also required..
A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years experience with large consulting
firm, professional services company or comparable experience in systems
implementation, process re-engineering or related discipline.
Broad knowledge of spend management strategies and/or procurement,
sourcing, category management, supplier relationship management.
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage large-scale projects is a
plus.
Experience with Ariba solutions preferred.
A preference that the candidate have experience in the transportation
and/or supply chain industry experience.
Responsibilities:
Communicates Supplier Enablement Program benefits, requirements, timelines
to suppliers and stakeholders
Coordinates and conducts Supplier Conferences via webinar to carry out
Supplier Enablement program.
Drives suppliers to register on the Ariba Network (AN)
Communicates the processes for order receipt, delivery, catalogue updates
and invoicing with the supplier.
Trains suppliers in the use of Purchase Order flip, Advance Ship Notices,
Order Confirmation, Invoice against Contract, CSV Invoicing.
Leads supplier connectivity and invoice validation testing
Leads technical and commercial validation of the catalogs.
Assists in loading catalogs into the Ariba system.
Communicates to Business Units and P2P program lead as catalogs and
suppliers become available.
Import and Export Catalog Data.
Run Scheduled Tasks.
Develop consultative relationships with field business leaders to identify
learning and development gaps.
Act as a subject matter expert and assist in the development internal
training and development programs.
Engage and motivate buyers and suppliers to adopt the P2P process and
learn the system and abide by the P2P process
