Responsibilities

As a Sourcing Buyer, you will be responsible for guaranteeing the accuracy and data integrity of all purchase order information related to a variety of New Balance channels of business. You will initiate purchase order placement with source factories and secure exit factory dates to ensure proper delivery of all orders. You will process New Balance production orders. In this role, you will administer source factory debit note resolution and vendor charge backs. You will be responsible for delivery compliance reporting, including weekly and monthly measurements of source factory delivery compliance.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent experience. 2-5 years experience in a fast paced planning and/or purchasing environment preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge or experience with LEAN manufacturing.
• Excellent computer skills and an advanced level of proficiency with Excel and Word. Ability to learn and use database tools such as GEAC/JBA and Diver.
