The primary focus of this key position is to Create and Maintain a Master
Schedule for the Facility. Monitor and maintain overall production schedules
and communicate plans and performance against those plans.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain a master schedule for the facility.
Facilitate monthly sales and operation planning meetings.
Lead daily, weekly and monthly meetings to communicate production plans
and performance against the plans.
Enter and maintain forecasts.
Create and maintain planning bills.
Consolidate information from hour-by-hour charts on the shop floor and use
this information to assess performance against the plan.
Requirements:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 7 or more years of progressive
experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business, or Production Management.
Expert knowledge and understanding of theories of MRP, JIT, Kanban and
Lean Manufacturing.
Understanding of the concepts and functionality of integrated
manufacturing systems, JD Edwards or Fourth Shift preferred.
Understanding of functions related to Materials, especially Customer
Service, Program Management and Cost Accounting.
Expert user in Excel.
Ability to use Microsoft Access.
Ability to create presentations and communicate with plant and division
management.
