The primary focus of this key position is to Create and Maintain a Master Schedule for the Facility. Monitor and maintain overall production schedules and communicate plans and performance against those plans.

Responsibilities:

 Create and maintain a master schedule for the facility.
 Facilitate monthly sales and operation planning meetings.
 Lead daily, weekly and monthly meetings to communicate production plans and performance against the plans.
 Enter and maintain forecasts.
 Create and maintain planning bills.
 Consolidate information from hour-by-hour charts on the shop floor and use this information to assess performance against the plan.


Requirements:

 Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 7 or more years of progressive experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
 Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business, or Production Management.
 Expert knowledge and understanding of theories of MRP, JIT, Kanban and Lean Manufacturing.
 Understanding of the concepts and functionality of integrated manufacturing systems, JD Edwards or Fourth Shift preferred.
 Understanding of functions related to Materials, especially Customer Service, Program Management and Cost Accounting.
 Expert user in Excel.
 Ability to use Microsoft Access.
 Ability to create presentations and communicate with plant and division management.
