As a Business
Alliance Specialist you will:
• Consolidate the internal business and legal requirements and facilitate
communication within the organization to develop a coordinated approach with
suppliers.
• Negotiate and manage contracts which achieve the strategic goals of the
organization and are in the best interest of ADP (maximum benefit with
minimum risk).
• Lead/participate in Corporate-wide negotiations and supplier management
that impact all SBU’s and Corporate Shared Services Procurement (SSP). •
Represent ADP's policies, business practices and requirements to suppliers
to manage the on-going supplier relationships.
• Analyze risk and serve as a knowledge-base in Supply Chain for Mergers and
Acquisitions due diligence and integration activities. • Ensure ADP is
legally and financially compliant with its contracts.
Requirements:
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Business Administration (or similar
discipline) required. • Contract Management certificate or degree highly
desirable.
Experience:
5+ years experience in business and/or legal environment with specific
5+ emphasis on technology contracting for IT hardware, software and
5+ services, contract negotiation, interpretation and contract process
5+ management - preferably with a variety of high dollar and volume
5+ supplier contracts. Experience in cost savings analysis and
5+ reductions. Working knowledge and application of contract and
5+ business law with good business judgment required. Must have
5+ experience in formulating and facilitating a team of diverse
5+ disciplines and needs. Risk mitigation skills and negotiating between
5+ key internal clients – understanding enough about disciplines to know
5+ how to close an agreement.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary. • Very strong
negotiation skills with solid business judgment. • Analytical skills. • Must
have strong contract drafting skills with a meticulous attention to detail
and form. • Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to manage
closing a deal and proactively anticipate issues or problems that may arise
• Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines. • Must have
excellent time management and project management skills, be able to
manage/prioritize multiple contracts and balance quality with expedience. •
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to interface
effectively with all levels of ADP management and disciplines and within the
supplier’s organization.
